In our FAQ, you'll find answers about Okaimono's parcel forwarding and proxy shopping services. We cover how to use our service, shipping rates, package consolidation, and handling fees. Learn about our secure and efficient processes for forwarding your purchases from Japan, and how our proxy shopping service helps you buy items from Japanese stores that don't ship internationally. We also explain tracking, delivery times, and any customs-related concerns to ensure a smooth experience.

What are your rules regarding relay points?You may only choose the relay points we have provided and/or approved. If you chose a relay point without our approval, we will not claim your item.

What are your rules regarding shipping?In accordance with the policies of the shipping carriers we use, we do not accept self-generated shipping labels. Additionally, we are unable to declare your package as a "gift" for shipping purposes. Shipping charges will be calculated based on the actual weight of your package.

What are your rules regarding price negotiations?Due to PayPal's strict policies, we try our best not to do unnecessary refunds. We do price negotiations only if the client still has the will to buy the item regardless if the seller agrees or not.

How long can you store items?While we currently do not impose a specific storage duration limit, we kindly encourage you to ship your items within one month to ensure adequate space for other clients' shipments.

What are the services provided by Okaimono?Okaimono provides comprehensive parcel forwarding, proxy shopping, and product description translation services, acting as your trusted intermediary between you and local vendors. We simplify the process of shopping from online stores that don’t offer international shipping, guiding you step-by-step. Our expert translation services ensure you fully understand product details, while we handle smooth transactions with local sellers on your behalf, making cross-border shopping effortless and hassle-free.

What can't Okaimono do?Please note that we do not offer authenticity checks for high-value items, so we strongly recommend conducting thorough research before making a purchase. Our assistance with refunds is limited to cases where the seller sends an item that is completely different from what was ordered. Additionally, we exclusively purchase from stores located in France, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines. While we do not source from other countries, we do make exceptions for Vinted (Italy, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland). While we make every effort to pack your items securely for international shipping, we cannot offer a refund if you receive a damaged item. Prior to dispatch, we will provide a photo of your parcel to show its condition when it leaves our warehouse. Although we are unable to issue a refund directly, we will investigate the matter with the postal service to determine what went wrong. If they issue a refund, we will promptly pass it along to you. We can request additional photos of the item from the seller, but we are unable to ask them to model the item or provide poses to demonstrate its fit. We reserve the right to decline any request we consider inappropriate.

What languages do you speak?We offer support in French, German, Japanese, Tagalog, and English. Our customer service team is fluent in English, Japanese, and Tagalog to assist you effectively.

What are your payment methods?We accept Stripe (with fees added to the total amount) and bank transfers. For payments, we accept euros for services in Europe and Japan, and pesos for services in the Philippines.

What shipping companies do you use?For France, we use La Poste. In Germany, we offer shipping via DHL, or UPS upon request. For Japan, we rely on Japan Post, which provides various options such as EMS, Airmail, and Surface Mail. In the Philippines, we use Philippine Post, offering EMS service only.

How do you calculate your packaging fees?For shipments of 1-5 items, we charge €6,10. For 6-10 items, the fee is €12,20, and for 11 to 15 items, the charge is €18,30. Please note that these rates may vary for extremely fragile items, such as glass, which require special handling. Packaging fees are as follows: Philippines: Starting at ₱250 Japan: Starting at ¥500
